I want to sign up to an internet package

Hi,

I have a property in France that I wish to have connected to the internet. I am trying to sign up to the internet box, but I cannot complete the form as it requires a french mobile phone number. I have a british mobile phone number and the form will not accept it. How can I proceed. There is a help where you will call back, but again I cannot put my phone number in this. What do I do please.

Pour être mis en relation avec le service commercial, il est indispensable d'avoir un numéro français.

Il est possible de demander à l'un de vos proches majeurs, résidant en France métropolitaine, de faire la démarche pour vous.

Si cela vous convient, votre proche en France peut être contacté(e) par l'un des conseillers sur son numéro français du lundi au samedi, de 8h à 21h.

Thankyou. Unfortunately I have no relatives in France. I would just like to have the €24.99 fibre box, but it looks like this won't be possible. Seems like I will have to try elesewhere

I thought I could order a sim card on a pay monthly, but it appears you need a mobile number to do this also.

Why don't you just get the cheapest possible SIM from one of the huge number of phone shops catering in large part for the immigrant community. I.e a "burner phone". Some of these SIM cards are even free, or come pre-loaded with credit that is about the same as the shop charges for the card.

I would have thought that would be enough to get you started.

Red-SFR will probably even try to get you to migrate the card to a monthly contract, the cheapest one being €2 a month, plus a €10 fee for a new card.

Pour le moment, RED n'a pas mis en place de cartes SIM prépayées et n'a pas de boutique.

I have now succeeded in ordering the internet box and package.
